In case you’re not in the loop, one of Youtube’s pioneer and all time favourite vlogger, Kevin Wu aka Kevjumba, is finally back online!
Similar to fellow vlogger Nigahiga, the Asian-American star is famous for his hilarious videos on random stuff (with special performances by his super cool dad), which helped boost his channel to the top spot on Youtube’s most popular charts in the industry’s early days.
However, in an unprecedented move, Kevjumba suddenly ‘went missing’ on the video sharing app in 2013 and fans were quick to come up with their own theories.
Some believed that he had left YouTube to pursue acting, while some were certain that he was studying Bhuddism to be a monk. Another rumour said that he was in Africa, teaching children at Kevjumba High School, which he had built using the money raised from JumbaFund.
After four years of ghosting, it’s only understandable if Kevjumba’s fans were starting to lose hope.
Well good news if you haven’t, because a few days ago, the Youtuber dropped a surprise video titled Hope, explaining why he’s been MIA and what he has been up to all these years, as well as his unfortunate near death experience last summer. Kevin Wu also revealed that he is back to reclaim his throne and will pick up from where he left off. Yass!
