After 8 weeks of auditions and challenges in SK-II’s Beauty Bound Season Two, Malaysia’s very own Fairuz Nadia Anura (@innermaverick on Instagram and YouTube) rises above hundreds of hopefuls and was crowned by Chiara Ferragni, Global Fashion Icon & judge of Beauty Bound Season Two.
Culminating in Okinawa, Japan, the final battle saw nine aspiring beauty creators pit themselves against each other in a series of heart-thumping challenges set in the wild. At the end of two grueling days, Nadia eventually won the hearts of fans and judges with her creativity, charisma and conviction.
To be named the winner of Beauty Bound, contestants had to embark on their final challenge – an epic beauty adventure in the depths of the Okinawan jungle in Japan. Contestants had to complete a variety of beauty social challenges with the brand’s iconic Facial Treatment Essence and create a 60 second #FaceTheWild video inspired by the films of SK-II’s latest campaign—SK-II Face The Wild | Face the Camera Extreme Expedition series with National Geographic.
Nadia walks away with an all expenses paid trip to a SK-II global event, a year’s worth of SK-II products as well as professional video equipment, networking opportunities with top beauty creators and SK-II content collaboration opportunities, a one week exchange program in the U.S. hosted by industry experts and a pass into the exclusive SK-II Global Beauty Circle.
Following a successful premiere in 2015, this season’s Beauty Bound breaks new ground with a first of its kind beauty web reality series following the journey of 64 aspiring digital creators as they chase their dreams to be the region’s next beauty vlogging sensation.
The series is part of SK-II’s #ChangeDestiny campaign, which is all about challenging the belief that destiny is set at birth and inspire as well as empower women to overcome limitations placed on them, embrace their individuality and create their destiny.
