There’s a hot beauty trick that’s sweeping across Korea right now, and while it may seem bizarre, the amazing result that is apparently produces – matte, melt-proof makeup – makes it too hard to pass up.
Jamsu, also known as diving or submerging, is the new way to ensure your makeup looks flawless and stays that way. It involves putting on primer, foundation and concealer as usual. Then, baking your face with a generous amount of powder before filling a sink with cold water and plunging your face into it, holding it there for no more than 30 seconds.
Finally, pat your face dry to reveal a perfect, smooth canvas and continue on with the rest of your makeup. We know, the act itself seems ridiculous, but the results are beyond.
