Angelina Jolie’s on-going divorce from Brad Pitt is not stopping her from moving on professionally. The actress and mother of six has just landed a prominent new beauty gig as the face of Guerlain’s new scent, Mon Guerlain, which launches this March.
The collaboration between Jolie and the luxury beauty brand came together in 2015 in Cambodia while the actress was directing her film First They Killed My Father. Jolie’s association with Guerlain has emotional roots too, as it was reportedly one of her late mother’s favorite powders.
“We create perfumes for the women we admire,” said Jacques Guerlain in a press release. The scent, he said, was meant to express the idea of the “notes of a woman: the choices, emotions and dreams that embody modern femininity.”
A longtime humanitarian, Jolie, who serves as Special Envoy for the UN Refugee Agency, has made sure her partnership with Guerlain is just as benevolent as it is beautiful. A Guerlain representative confirms that on top of being the face of the product, she’ll be donating her entire salary from the campaign to one of her own charities.
Angelina Jolie has remained pretty much under the radar since filing for divorce from Brad Pitt. Aside from being spotted with her children, Jolie has kept work projects to a minimum. Jolie and Pitt’s divorce process has been a rocky one over the past few months, but the two released a joint statement earlier this month to say that they will handle the rest of the proceedings in private.
