We have seen a series of cool new features integrated into our favourite instant massaging app WhatsApp this year. And there has been speculations that soon, WhatsApp will be adding the option we’ve all have been waiting for – the ability to retract and edit messages which have already been sent across to the recipient.

As per news leaks from the Twitter account WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp beta app update for iOS 2.17.1.869 allows users to edit and revoke texts sent, even after the messages have been received and viewed by recipients. Yeap, we can finally recall those embarrassing text messages!

In addition, WhatsApp is apparently also working on other new features, such as new ways of displaying the users’ status updates. Just give WhatsApp some time to roll out these new elements to all its users on a global scale! 😉
