Stretch marks are supposed to fade over time, but my gosh, it can seem like an eternity, even when you attempt to treat it religiously with cocoa butter or rosehip oil. Ya’ll know what we’re getting at, right?
You’ve probably seen little clips of women getting their stretch marks tattooed on with skin-coloured ink going around on social media and yes, although the treatment is only available in Brazil, the idea itself is kind of revolutionary.
Brazilian tattoo artist Rodolpho Torres is becoming crazy popular for his impressive camouflaging method on stretch marks. He takes flesh-toned ink and fills in the scars so they appear less visible.
His Instagram, which now boasts over 1.2 million followers, is filled with videos demonstrating his technique, together with shocking before-and-after shots of his work. It’s amazing!

It isn’t your average suggestion or solution, but it is something you can consider, if it’s a concern for you. Perhaps you are insecure, or self-conscious, as with all of us.
With that said, is it safe though? Dermatologists are coming forward to say that the treatment is safe. However, the tattoo colour fades over time and may not match the skin in the years to come. Also, we all know tattoos aren’t easy to remove.
