Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamrick, who made headlines around the world when they announced their pregnancy in June, has blown up the internet once again.
Last night, the 73-year-old Rolling Stones frontman welcomed his eighth child – a beautiful baby boy – with his 29-year-old ballerina girlfriend. “Mick was at the hospital for the arrival,” according to a statement from Jagger’s publicist.
“Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”
Congratulations started rolling in for the pair, including well wishes from his former flame‘s brother, Randall Bambrough who commented, “I am happy for Mick. I have observed him to be a loving father, and family is very important to him”.
Before Melanie, Mick Jagger was linked to L’Wren Scott for 13 years, a high-end fashion designer who committed suicide in 2014 due to extreme depression. She was found in her Chelsea apartment, hanging from the ceiling.
The music star already has seven children, age of 17 to 45, from his previous relationships with Marsha Hunt, Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall and Luciana Gimenez Morad. He also has five grandchildren and became a great-grandfather in May 2014.
