The world is apparently buzzing about one romantic encounter, wondering whether the kiss between former married singers Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez was spontaneous or staged when the pair performed at Thursday night’s Latin Grammy Awards.
Lopez who presented her ex with the Person of the Year Award, started with a heartfelt speech about her former flame: “Marc is a living legend. He is a magical and pure artist giving away classics that will stay forever,” she said. “He will always be many things in my life. He will always be a lot of things to me. He’s my kindred spirit. My love.”
It’s no secret that these two are still in love with each other, despite the divorce and all. The singers proved it is possible to stay friendly with your exes when they sealed the moment with a kiss after fans pressure them to do so, chanting “Beso, beso!” which means “Kiss, kiss!”

Clearly, not everyone favoured the kiss. In less than a day after the smooch, Anthony and his Venezuelan model wife, Shannon de Lima separated, after two years of marriage. Talk about timing!
The pair first started dating back in 2012, just months after he separated from ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, and wed in 2014 during a private ceremony in the Dominican Republic. It hasn’t been all smooth sailing from there too, as they have briefly separated in 2013 before rekindling their romance in October 2014.
We’re pretty sure nobody wants to be in Shannon’s position! 😪

It’s official – Marc Anthony and his wife of two years Shannon De Lima are getting a divorce. This comes shortly after their separation following the singer’s scandalous kiss with ex Jennifer Lopez at the Latin Grammy Awards.
The two said in a statement: “After much consideration, we have mutually and amicably decided to end our two year marriage.”
“We ask for privacy during this difficult process, and no further comments will be made from either one of us about this personal matter.”
De Lima has a 9-year-old son from a past relationship, whereas her and Marc have no kids together.
