The Malaysian fashion industry has had a rough start to the week as renowned designer Sonny San died from a heart attack on the morning of October 16.
The 54-year-old designer, who was famed for his ready-to-wear label Eclipse, was dubbed as one of the early pioneers in fashion in Malaysia and was well-loved as a respected, kind, humble and talented man.

Eclipse was founded in 1996 in Malaysia and has since established a presence in Thailand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, Philippines and Taiwan.
Many Malaysian celebrities and fashion powerhouses in Malaysia have also paid tribute to the late designer.
