Legendary rock singer and Grammy winner Meat Loaf was performing at Edmonton, Canada when he collapsed and fell to the floor on June 16.
The 68-year-old was in the midst of singing his 1993 hit “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)” when he dropped his microphone and collapsed. He continued singing briefly before people rushed to his aid. The band also stopped playing.
Thankfully, he quickly regained consciousness and could even state his name and where he was.

A black curtain was then drawn and the audience was immediately evacuated. The singer was transported to a local hospital which mentioned that he had a “fainting episode.”

Meat Loaf, whose real name is Marvin Lee Aday, had also cancelled performances earlier in the week, citing that he is unwell.
