With the unsettling amount of beauty products I have spilling out of drawers and cluttering my vanity, it’s literally impossible for me to slap the same assortment of products on my face daily as I try my hardest to give each product some love, even if rarely. Having said that, I seriously cannot fathom going a day without these five products. In my opinion, they are THAT good:
1. Moonshot Multi-Protection UV Bouncer SPF50+ PA+++ – I’ve tried many sunscreens for the face, but never got on with any.. until this one from Moonshot. It applies and absorbs into the skin just like a moisturiser, and you’d forget that it’s there, which is exactly what I want! It’s actually marketed as a primer, so it’s a plus as it’d help makeup last longer.
2. Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara* – No matter what brow product I use, whether a pomade, brow pencil or brow powder, I will set it with the Brow Drama. I don’t think the spherical wand sculpts the brows per se, but the product is lovely and it holds my crazy brow hairs in place without leaving them feeling crunchy. Those brows won’t budge!
3. Tarte Amazonian Clay Bronzer** – The Social Butterfly bronzer comes with the Light of the Party makeup palette and I’ve been using it non-stop. It’s a matte, medium, warm-toned brown shade that gives me a sun-kissed look, and its non-powdery formula blends effortlessly. It lasts a long time on my skin and I sometimes use it as a crease colour too.
4. Beautyblender – It goes without saying that the Beautyblender is heaven sent. It blends out makeup like a dream for the most flawless finish without looking cakey, and in my opinion, no brush compares to what the Beautyblender can do. I use it for foundation daily, cream contour and highlight, and to set my under eyes with powder once in a while.
5. Sigma Large Angled Contour Brush F40 – Regardless of the bronzer or contour powder I’m using, I reach for this wonderful brush. It has a fluffy angled brush head with soft rounded edges and it fits snug right under my cheekbones for a poppin’ contour. I also like how the brush isn’t overly dense, so you won’t ever disperse too much pigment.
