Global sports brand PUMA recently collaborated with Malaysia’s premiere sneaker source, Crossover store. The link up resulted in a luscious pack called The Velvet Twin Pack, which features the iconic Blaze of Glory and Disc Blaze. Named ‘Roses’ and ‘Mystery’, the sneaker pack takes inspiration from the favourite film of the man behind the entire concept of the Crossover store, Mr. Jem.
“The Velvet Pack Blaze of Glory ‘Rose’ reinterprets the Trinomic icon with a fulltonal grey treatment on mesh upper placed under the nubuck and leather material with speckled cage on the overlay. The dab of pink on the tongue, lace, sole represents Crossover’s signature colour while he sky blue tint adds a touch of freshness on the insole and around the house. The main colourway adorns the outsole while a rose stencil print near the heel finishes off the design.”
“The Velvet Pack Disc Blaze ‘Mystery’ features a see-through DISC cap on a pitch black upper constructed of mesh, nubuck, and suede. The white speckled black cage symbolizes the faintest goodness that’s often times found in every suspense drama’s antagonistic character. A shot of pink on the heel tab among all the black presents the unpredictable behaviour of devious characters and also stands for Crossover’s colours.”
The Blaze of Glory ‘Rose’ and Disc Blaze ‘Mystery’ available exclusively throughout all Crossover stores on April 15 and May 7th for RM580 and RM630 respectively.
