H&M Studio for AW16 is all about feminine strength with an immense, delicate touch of folkoric romance. The collection has unique, individual pieces, rich in detail with intricate designing.
With designs of oversized shoulders and a fitted waist to create an hourglass shape which contrasts with Swedish folkloric influences in both silhouette and embellishment. For more glam & elegance, long-sleeve draped dresses brings just that.
“There is a new femininity in this H&M Studio collection. It’s about female strength and power, with a fresh look at folklore and romance. It’s very elevated, and also very real,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Creative Advisor.
The show for H&M Studio AW16 in Paris was graced with big names like Emma Roberts, Ciara, Olivia Palermo and Kate Mara were as they at under the domed ceiling of the historic Bourse de Commerce.
Models like Amber Valletta, Jourdan Dunn, Freja Beha Erichsen, Ashley Graham, Soo Joo Park and Hari Nef strutted down the runway in looks that expressed a woman’s individuality, and the diversity of the female character fiercely.
This limited edition collection will be available in 200 stores, as well as online, from September 8, 2016 so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
