Aussie actress Rebel Wilson is a funny lady! We all know this and totally love her for it. She’s most well known for her role as Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect movies but this year, Wilson is already making headlines with her deadpan comedy at the 2016 BAFTA Awards.
Wilson touched on just about every subject, Oscar diversity scandal, transgender roles and how she’s programmed to want chocolate on Valentine’s day while mentioning British actor Idris Elba.
“It is so great to be here at this serious event. I have never been invited to the Oscars, because as we all know they are racist,” said Wilson. “But the BAFTA have diverse members, and that’s what we all want in life isn’t it? Diverse members.”
She then continued with, “I hope one day to return here and win a BAFTA. I am already practising my transgender face.”
Finishing it off with, “I’m sorry, Idris Elba, I’m really nervous. I’m just sociologically programmed to want chocolate on Valentine’s Day.”
