The final collection of the collaboration line with the Paris-based fashion label LEMAIRE and UNIQLO for Spring/Summer 2016 will be dropped on March 4 and following the overwhelming global success from the collab’s 2015 Fall/Winter collection, more Malaysian UNIQLO stores will be offering this SS16 collection. This will include UNIQLO at Fahrenheit88, One Utama and Mid Valley Megamall.
For SS16, the UNIQLO AND LEMAIRE collaboration offers an array of outfits that are richly expressive and classic pieces that are given a contemporary twist. The lightweight apparel are designed with clean aesthetics that loosely drape over the body while injecting functional elements that enhance practicality. With clean silhouettes and a moderately voluminous feel, the clothing also allows for the freedom of accessibility in any setting.
The colour palette for this season’s collection is designed with the thought of the light of the summer sun in mind, consisting of ginger, mahogany, blue/green and ash gray, accented with blacks and whites. The seersucker,chambray and oxford cloth material used for this collection also prove to be strikingly comfortable. A brand new and notable highlight of the entire collection is the season’s unisex shoes.
A special website for the UNIQLO AND LEMAIRE 2016 Spring/Summer collection will be launched on February 2, so keep your eyes peeled. We reckon that the collection will be flying off the shelves, hence, do be sure to mark your calendars for March 4.
