Aesop’s new Double-Edge Razor is meticulously handmade by English craftsmen, and the handle and chrome-plated blade head are perfectly weighted for an immaculate shave. With a brass collar handle that’s triple-plated with copper, nickel and chrome, and a blade head that is made from die-cast Zamak, the Double-Edge Razor comes with 10 stainless steel Merkur Solingen razor blades for both new and experienced wet shavers.
Prior to use, gently unscrew the handle from the blade head to discard the dummy blade, then insert a fresh blade and reattach securely. After use, thoroughly rinse it under running hot water and leave dry. The blades can be left in the razor’s head, but removal is recommended for long-term use to help retain its quality. For a clean and sharp shave, Aesop suggests replacing the blades every three to seven shaves.
The Double-Edge Razor (RM320) and replacement Merkur Solingen Double-Edge Razors (RM75) are now available at Aesop signature stores, and online.
