Following the success of its first modest wear line, UNIQLO once again worked with UK-born fashion designer and blogger Hana Tajima for a second UNIQLO x Hana Tajima Collection, this time for Spring/Summer 2016. Tailored to complement UNIQLO’s LifeWear concept, this line fulfils the needs of women who value modest style with chic, high quality pieces for any occasion.
For Spring/Summer 2016, the hijab headscarves, relaxed jeans, rayon blouses, long dresses and more are updated with vibrant prints, innovative cuts and refreshing colours. The AIRism Inner Hijab and High Neck, which ensures coverage without compromising comfort, also get an update.
Reflecting her style and UNIQLO’s LifeWear concept, this collaboration features essential pieces that are relaxed and versatile, focusing on the wearer’s lifestyle. One of the highlights in the collection include the Baju Kurung, which can be styled as a tunic over a pair of trousers, or can be worn as a dress on its own.
Hana Tajima will also be showing wearers a few ways to style different pieces from the UNIQLO x Hana Tajima Spring/Summer 2016 Collection in a series of videos soon.
