Based on a popular Christmas legend, Krampus is an American dark fantasy horror film that revolves around a dysfunctional family. Over the holidays, the family clashes and young Max (played by Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. This lack of festive spirit had unleashed the wrath of Krampus – a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell then breaks loose and the fractured family is forced to fight for each other in hopes of surviving.
Directed by Michael Dougherty, Krampus stars Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, Allison Tolman, Conchata Ferrell, Emjay Anthony, Stefania LaVie Owen, Krista Stadler, and more. Many horror fans are highly anticipating this film as Dougherty, who directed Trick ‘r Treat, is once again, about to exhibit his flair for holiday terror.
