So next year marks the 20th year anniversary of the first ever Spice Girls album, “Spice” (do you feel old yet?) and according to Scary Spice Mel B, the group might go on a reunion tour to celebrate the 20 years.
In an interview with Billboard, Mel B says that once they all sort everything out they will make an official announcement but for now there’s not much to say. They’re still figuring it out, well I hope they figure it out quicker because this is just too exciting to wait out for.
During the interview, Mel B also discussed the group’s role in the girl power movement and what it’s like to be on a show with Howard Stern and how the Spice Girls are still great friends to this day although they’ve broken up.
She also added that she remembers everything like it was yesterday and they’re all still really good friends but it does feel like they’ve done these things a long time ago because music has evolved so much since then. She’s hoping everything works out for next year as are we because who wouldn’t want this reunion tour to happen?
