Lemon Garden Cafe at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur are perfectly prepared for Deepavali which will be on the 10th of November with a festive buffet. The Indian dishes for the Deepavali buffet will be an addition to the usual high tea spread from 12pm to 3pm and for dinner from 6.30pm. The buffet will cater the tastebuds of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
The buffet will start off with Mulligatawny soup, served with naan and poori then there will be Pakoras and Paneer potato cheese balls with Chutney as well as Kobi Pachadi. The buffet will also include favourite Tandoori treats like Seekh Kebab, Chicken Reshmi, Kadak Tikka, Shrimp Tikka and Kothimiri Machli.
The main courses for the meals will include Goan fish curry, Mutton Shai Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and Shrimps cooked in coconut masala. These dishes will be accompanied with either rice or Indian breads. There will also be Biryani rice baked with vegetables and Pushpanna.
As for the Vegetarian main courses there will be, Malai Kofta, Matar Panir, Gobi Aloo Bhaji and Chana Masala.
Deserts will include Rosewater marinated fruit salads, Gulab Jamun, Jackfruit Pavasam, Kulfi and Rava Kesari amongst many others.
The Deepavali high tea at Lemon Garden Cafe is RM120 per person and dinner is RM140 per person.
