[REVIEW] Top 5 Favourites By Benefit This Season

I love makeup, I mean, which woman doesn’t? I’m all for appreciating natural beauty but there is nothing wrong with using a few products here and there to enhance your natural features. Benefit came about because two ladies loved playing with makeup and wanted to produce fun makeup for women to have and to use. You’ve got to admit, everything about Benefit, from their packaging to their products, is outrageously fun. That’s what makes the brand’s playful personality a popular choice amongst women all over the world.

For those who are still a little unfamiliar with this fun-loving Benefit, let me tell you that a lot of their products has won beauty awards and if you have used any of their stuff, you won’t be all that surprised. Besides being super vibrant, Benefit also produces makeup that does what it promises to do. So, for this season, I have decided to pick out 5 of my favourites and share with you why each one is worth the purchase. Let’s start, shall we?

ChaCha Tint
If you’re an avid reader of Lipstiq.com (and also of my articles), you’ll know that I am a big fan of 2-in-1, 3-in-1, 4-in1, basically anything in-1 products. I mean, who doesn’t? It saves a lot of time and definitely saves on space too! The ChaCha Tint is similar to their award-winning Benetint liquid brush, although I personally feel that this one is more suitable for those with a more tanned skin. What I love about this is that you have more room for error when compared to the Benetint. Also, this one sets in pretty quickly, so be swift when applying on your cheeks and lips!

Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 20
The name’s quite a mouthful isn’t it? This cute product is actually an eyeshadow primer, and if you live in the tropics, you’ll understand how real the problem of runny eyeshadow can get. Besides being housed in a clever and super duper adorable packaging, the Air Patrol boasts a “CushionCalm” tip that is meant to be softer than your pinkie, which when tried and tested, I found to be very true. For those who love applying eyeshadow, I highly suggest this product as it really helps prime your eyelids before setting the colours in. It also gave me a soft matte finish that feels very lightweight.

Hoola Bronzing Powder
This award-winning bronzing powder is the one you should definitely add to your family of makeups! You can either sweep this all over your face to give it an all-around glow or use sparingly for definition, either way is a must not just this season but all year! What I love most about this bronzer is how nice the chestnut colour goes against my skin and blends in pretty easily. A lot of women that have fair skin would opt to use this baby as a contouring product, which it does stunningly, but I use it to give my face a fresh subtle glow.

They’re Real! Push Up Liner
This pen-style applicator eyeliner has a gel-like texture. It was originally launched in only one shade: matte black. But now, the They’re Real! Push Up Liner comes in brown, blue, and for those who love to live life on the edge, purple and green. I love how the “AccuFlex” tip hugs my lashes and how flexible it is too. It took me quite a while to master putting this eyeliner on smoothly but once I got it, I managed to create an eyeliner look that even Adele would be jealous of! I do have to point out that this liner would be most suitable for those with less oily skin, because such thing can break down the colour of the liner. For me, this is a pretty cool product that’s worth adding to my makeup collection and if you’re a fan of eyeliners, this is definitely a must!

The POREfessional: Agent Zero Shine
I’m absolutely in love with this clever product and it’s even more clever packaging. This pale powder with its subtle peach-tint really helped with my skin that sometimes will excrete more oil than I want it to. It gives my skin a soft, smooth, velvety-like texture, which is something so great when you live in humid country. If the matte look is not for you then don’t go for this because it really helps diminish any shine you may have on your face. This product would be most suitable for those with oily skin as Agent Zero Shine will really eliminate the every bit of shine on your skin.
