Last week we covered 4 out of the 7 products that came in Sephora’s Beaute Box and this week, we’re gonna take a closer look at the rest of the high-tech skincare items. In the last article, we discussed how sometimes we need the aid of innovative beauty products to keep our skin looking its best and in this week’s Part 2 list, we continue with some of the finest serums for the skin.
Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Fast Acting Serum (RM578)
This serum has been getting a lot of press for its synthetic snail venom, neuropeptides and genuine diamond dust, which is meant to give you painless and needle-free wrinkle treatment. This fast-acting wrinkle serum is pretty straight forward to use and promises to give you visible results within 3 days. After giving it a try for almost a week, we can definitely vouch that for the money that you spend, you’ll get back good results. I found that the secret behind this awesome serum is the synthetic snail venom, which helps relax the appearance of wrinkles, especially the ones on our foreheads and some of our deep wrinkles.
The best thing about it: The fact that this product can actually blur dark spots, which if you’re exposed to the sun a lot, you’ll know how problematic they can be. We’ll say no to painless anti-wrinkle treatment any day.
Kate Somerville Mega-C™ Dual Radiance Serum (RM365)
Okay, so you might be wondering about the unique packaging of this serum. The reason it comes in two different tubes is to keep product stable and keep the potency level preserved until it’s time for you to apply it on your skin. One chamber contains the bio active phyto-omegas 3, 6, 7 and 9, while the other chamber is packed with Vitamin C serum. What it’s supposed to do is promote a healthy and radiant glow as well as firms the skin, elasticity while improving the texture all at the same time. We highly recommend using this at night as part of your skincare routine!
The best thing about it: The serum is super hydrating and we can’t seem to get enough of its citrusy scent. If you have uneven skin tone, you might want to consider giving this a try!
Claudalie Resveratrol [Lift] Firming Serum (RM260)
Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Firming Serum has been designed to define your facial outline and reshape the skin. This serum promises to noticeably recontour, firms and plumps the skin thanks to peptides that increase collagen and elastin in your face, which gives a more ‘lifted’ look. After a week of use, we found our skin to be slightly firmer and love the fact that this oil-free formula won’t leave your face feeling sticky. The Hyaluronic Acid amps the face up with moisture, keeping it feeling super hydrated almost all day long. We highly recommend using this serum in the morning and evening!
The best thing about it: It’s super gentle so if you have sensitive skin, you don’t really have to worry about your skin acting out from using this serum.
