In conjunction with International World Sight Day on the 8th of October, L’OCCITANE Malaysia is organising a charity campaign for the 7th time. The theme of this campaign will be “The Fight Against Avoidable Blindness” which will help raise funds for St.Nicholas’ Home and Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB).
Funds collected will be donated to conduct eye screenings and prescribe glasses for those who require them. L’OCCITANE also hopes to raise awareness through this campaign.
This year’s fundraiser will benefit the Ipoh branch of MAB where eye screenings will be performed on elder people with cataracts, children between 5 – 17 years of age who have refractive errors and students with low vision problems. For St.Nicholas’ Home, the funds will be used to perform eye screenings on at least 500 students in rural areas.
Along with the charity campaign, L’OCCITANE will also be selling their Shea Foot Cream and Tin Box Set for RM41 where all profits will go to selected local NGOs. The products will be available at all L’OCCITANE stores nationwide and will start from the 7th October till 31st December.
