Making his debut as the new host of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Trevor Noah’s smooth delivery of cutting-edge comedic commentary makes its way to Asia on HyppTV Channel 609 (HD) every Thursday at 12.30am. The fresh incarnation of the Emmy® and Peabody® award-winning series will continue its coverage of the day’s news and events with the incisive and insightful humour of host Trevor Noah and the talented roster of The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever! including Jordan Klepper, Jessica Williams, Lewis Black, John Hodgman, Al Madrigal, Aasif Mandvi, Hasan Minhaj and Kristen Schaal.
Noah was a contributor to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart back in 2014, then made his first U.S. television debut in 2012 on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as well as Late Show with David Letterman, becoming the first South African stand-up comedian to appear on either late night shows. Having host his own talk show in his native country, Tonight with Trevor, Noah isn’t new to this.
He recently performed for the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance, featured on the October 2014 cover of GQ South Africa and has been profiled in Rolling Stone, Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, CNN and NPR’s Talk of the Nation, amongst others. He continues to tour the world and has performed in front of sold out crowds at the Hammersmith Apollo in London and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
