SK-II is a Japanese brand that has been around for a while and is famous for having the ingredient “Pitera” in their products. Pitera™ is meant to be packed with amino acids, vitamins, organic acids and minerals that work together to make your skin look its best. Thanks to the folks at SK-II, I managed to get my hands on the Pitera Essence Set. Read on to find out how each product worked on my skin:
Facial Treatment Essence
First things first, the Facial Treatment Essence has a very strong smell, and while it’s quite powerful, it’s not entirely unpleasant. Please note that this product has 90% Pitera, so it’s got all the goodness you want for your skin to look plump, fair and younger. It’s very liquidy, so absorbing into my skin took no time at all and immediately after the use, I felt somewhat fresher. After a few use, you’ll be able to notice how your skin isn’t that oily anymore, which is always a problem when living in a humid country.
Facial Treatment Clear Lotion
This product right here is like a toner. You can just pour some onto a cotton pad and smear it all over your face. This product was light, easy to use and didn’t dry out my skin.
Facial Treatment Mask
This mask was a real treat to my face and you would probably have to use a few more times to really reap the benefits of this mask but I found that after one mask, my skin instantly got that boost of moisture it needed. The Facial Treatment Mask is non-sticky, which is always a plus for me!

Phase 1 of Beauty Bound Asia saw 73 contestants that made it when it was held in Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur on September 12. Each contestant was given a box of SK-II products before they left. They’re supposed to capture on video the 1st thing that comes to mind when they open the box and share their review of the products as part of an online challenge to qualify for Phase 2 of the challenge.
