Promising the best of both worlds by combining a powerful camera with a premium smartphone, Lenovo introduces the VIBE Shot, which is one of the newest camera smartphone crossover devices in the market. Stylish, sleek and functional, the device is tailored specifically for both shutterbugs and savvy socials who are always on the go.
Like a standalone point-and-shoot camera, the VIBE Shot features a dedicated shutter button which can also be used to instantly activate the camera function. The camera function also boasts an infrared auto-focusing (AF) system, a tri-colour LED flash for more realistic skin tones, superior low-light performance supported by a 16:9 BSI sensor, and optical image stabilisation tech (OIS) for reduced blurring.
Shutterbugs will enjoy the VIBE Shot’s Smart Composition function for automatic scene detection and an onscreen guide on the Auto mode, whereas the Pro mode features manual controls like the aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings. For those who love taking selfies, there is also a panoramic selfie feature that captures three selfies and turn them into one image.
As for its performance, the VIBE Shot boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor on top of an octa-core chip for efficient multitasking. 3GB of RAM adds to the performance, and a 32GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 128GB through a microSD card support, enables you to store so much more. With 4G/LTE support, users can expect smooth performance too.
Outside, the VIBE Shot boasts a full aluminium outer frame, plus front and back Corning Gorilla glass. Merely 7.6mm thick, the VIBE Shot is available in Carmine Red and Graphite Grey.
