Grammy-nominated performing artist Redfoo will be hosting MTV Say It In Song, a new international music-driven social series premiering this Wednesday, 19 August at 11pm (MY).
Using music’s unique ability to connect people via an emotional and powerful way, Say It In Song is about telling an important message to someone with specific songs through highly creative surprise musical capers, from elaborately choreographed dance routines, to intimate serenades, homemade music videos, musical pranks, and more.
At home, we will be given a backstory and will be privy to the planning of the ‘caper’ before witnessing the final surprise and the resolution. Stakes, drama, intensity, humour and heart will brand each episode while Redfoo and the MTV production team will plan out the best way to make the statement with maximum impact.
In the season premiere of Say It In Song, Chelsea is still in love with her sailor ex-boyfriend, Mark, and Jim, whose concerned daughter Sarah worries about the wrong things. With Redfoo and the song squad behind a special carousel ride set to Paramore’s “I’m Still Into You” and a bus tour of NYC with dancers shaking to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”, will it all be a success? Will Chelsea win Mark back? And will Jim be able to reach out to his worried daughter?
