Sunsilk launched the Kecapi Impianku Bersama Sunsilk campaign for every young hijabi to turn their dreams into reality. Sunsilk collaborates with Astro to provide and empower aspiring hijabis a platform to fulfil their ambition and to tell their story.
Singer Najwa Latif, director Melissa Saila and broadcast journalist Khairunnisa Kasnoon will be taking a young protégé under their wing, mentoring them within their respective industries. The three hijabis chosen will embark on a life-changing journey to express their passion for music, film or journalism respectively. Their journey will also be documented in a series of 10 short episodes.
If you’re an aspiring hijabi aged 18 to 29 years old who is passionate about achieving your dreams, then submit your entries via the Astro Gempak website or Kecapi Impianku bersama Sunsilk roadshows from 11 August to 6 September 2015. Additionally, there will be two on-ground recruitment events where you can meet the mentors in person:
- Setia City Mall on 22 August 2015, 5pm to 6pm
- Putrajaya Allamanda Mall on 29 August 2015, 5pm to 6pm
The 10 Kecapi Impianku bersama Sunsilk episodes will be aired on hlive! every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8.30pm starting 14 October 2015, exclusively on Astro Ria (Channel 104) and Astro Awani (Channel 501). These episodes will also be uploaded onto Astro Gempak’s website.
