It has been confirmed that JK Rowling’s first screenplay, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will feature Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston and Colin Farrell. We’re so stoked!

The film, which will be directed by Harry Potter favourite David Yates, has cast Eddie as the male lead Newt Scamander, a “magiczoologist” who studies magical creatures.

Katherine will star as the female lead alongside Eddie in the Harry Potter spin-off as a US-based witch Tina, or Porpentina, who meets Newt in New York.

No further information has been released, but rumours are that Irish actor Colin Farrell will play Graves, a wizard who also meets Newt in New York.
