On the 28th of July, Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo held “The Art of Shoemaking” which was an exclusive live demonstration of how Ferragamo shoes are made. All the way from Florence, Italy, the master craftsman himself, Giuliano Bartolozzi showed the crowd his fine skills at the brand’s duplex boutique in Pavilion KL.
Over 150 guests and many well-known personalities were greeted with a cocktail reception with an intimate view of the astonishing craftsmanship and extraordinary quality of materials composing each hand made shoe.
Malaysia actresses, Scha Alyahya and Jojo Goh, both dressed in Salvatore Ferragamo Fall/Winter 2015 collection, had the privilege to experience the shoe making process up close with the master craftsman, who revealed secrets behind the making of Ferragamo’s most iconic Varina and Carla shoes. The public also had an eye-opening experience while appreciating the tradition of Salvatore Ferragamo from the 29th to 31st July.
