put-on wonder Foundation in the shade Ivory (RM122)
This water-based fluid foundation is formulated with soft-focus mineral powders, vitamins and aloe vera to protect the skin from free radicals and to boost the skin’s immune system while concealing imperfections. For optimum sun protection, this foundation also comes with SPF15. It is very comfortable to wear, blendable and looks dewy at first, but gets slightly matte as it sets. The put-on wonder Foundation only comes in five shades, so it may be difficult for some to find their exact shade.
ohh blush! in the shade Peony (RM95)
Formulated with light reflecting pigments and infused with plant extracts, this liquid blush is intensely pigmented and long lasting. A little product goes a long way and it provides a very natural flush on the cheeks that is wonderful for daily wear. If you find that your powder blush wears off throughout the day, try this blush as it would not budge or move, making it perfect for summertime or hot, humid weather. The shade range is pretty limited as there are only three to choose from.
cue smooch-stick in the shade Charis (RM95)
Enriched with vitamin E and antioxidants, this creamy lipstick glides on smoothly and provides a soft finish. Intensely hydrating on the lips, it is very comfortable to wear and the colour doesn’t slide around, so you wouldn’t have to be concerned about touching it up often. I’ve tried wearing this lipstick for long hours and it doesn’t dry out my lips or fades in a patchy kind of way. There are 10 shades in total and we’re pretty impressed with the colour selection.
On the face: put-on wonder Foundation in the shade Ivory with no skin primer, concealer or finishing powder, ohh blush! in the shade Peony, shu uemura’s brow:sword, Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara, cue smooch-stick in the shade Charis without lip liner.
The foundation barely covered my spots and imperfections. The coverage is light and buildable, even though the website claims that the foundation provides a medium to full coverage. Having said that, it looks very natural and leaves a nice satin finish. I like it, but it isn’t super long lasting on the skin.
Half a pump of this blush is sufficient for both cheeks as it is intensely pigmented. I warm up the product in between both the tips of my ring fingers and gently tap the blush on the apples of my cheeks. It leaves you with quite a bit of time to blend it in before it dries completely matte. This rosy pink blush is gorgeous and would suit a lot of different skin tones.
The lipstick is very hydrating and it isn’t too creamy, so it doesn’t slide around. I fancy the formulation, but the shade in the tube doesn’t resemble the shade on the website and on the packaging at all. I expected a darker, more coral pink, but was surprised with a lighter, true pink instead. The lipstick is slightly sheer but completely buildable.
Overall, I like the products that I’ve tried from Cuepido Cosmetics, but I believe they could be better. I’d continue to use them, but some people would be turned off by the light coverage of the foundation, which has a complete opposite claim on the website, and the fact that the shade of the lipstick doesn’t at all resemble the shade displayed on the website.
