Breast Cancer Awareness: Citizen’s take at charity

Catching up on the move to fight and eliminate breast cancer, another sponsor has stepped up to support the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Citizen watches has teamed up with Susan G. Komen as an initiative that ropes in two limited edition watches to raise USD100,000 (RM310,000) for charity. The graceful Eco-Drive timepieces come with and without diamond covered bezels, with the signature Citizen light powered quartz movements encapsulated inside of them.

It basically means that the watches carry the trademark revolutionary Citizen technology in which you will never have to buy batteries for them because these elegant and chic timepieces draw on natural or artificial light to power your watch!

Perfectly in tune with Breast Cancer Awareness, the watches have feminine pink dials to match the pink ribbon logo of the “Susan G. Komen For the Cure” and specially engraved casebacks.

The limited edition 20-diamond bezel Citizen Eco-Drive (EW1590-56X) is priced at USD325 (RM1,007) whereas the polished steel bezel Citizen Eco-Drive (EW1660-52X) will be going for USD275 (RM852). A little steep but hey, with every purchase, you’re doing your part in supporting Breast Cancer Awareness!

Both watches will be made available wherever Citizen timepieces are sold.
