French fashion designer, Christian Audigier, notable for his tattoo-inspired designs for Ed Hardy and Von Dutch passed away over the weekend at age 57. Audigier, who was battling with cancer, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, a bone marrow disease in January. Besides Ed Hardy, the famed designer has also worked with other labels such as Guess, Levi’s and Diesel.
Audigier’s publicist, Michele Elyzabeth told LATF USA: “I just heard the news and I am truly devastated. Christian was an incredibly brilliant man. He will be missed.”
