You would never guess what scares Ryan Reynolds most about parenthood. Some parents would say that they are terrified of being bad parents to their kids, but for Reynolds, 38, it’s time.
The actor, father to six-month-old baby girl, James, told AOL Build: “There’s nothing that ages you faster than having a kid, and that’s not because you wake up in the middle of the night, every five seconds because someone’s got to sh*t themselves – it’s really because you’re looking at this person and time is just flying by, like how is it possible that you’re already half a year old?”
Reynolds and wife, Green Lantern co-star, Blake Lively, welcomed their first child on December 2014. Reynolds even told HuffPost Live that his daughter is the most amazing creature he has ever seen in his life.
Although his career requires him to take long trips away from home sometimes, he also gets long periods of time off. He admitted to dislike the long breaks when he was younger, but everything changed when he got married.
“Those three months used to drive me insane when I was a young buck, single, and carefree, but now I just want to be with my daughter so yeah. I’ll do anything to be with my wife and baby,” said Reynolds.
