It might have been eleven years since the hit comedy “Mean Girls” came out, but it’s popularity seems to have never died out. The hilarious movie is always fun to quote with your friends, and it’s definitely stood the test of time. So, what if there was an actual “Mean Girls” game?! Well thanks to Pocket Gems, a fun, choose-your -own-adventure mobile game is currently in development, and is set to be released this year in October!
The game will be completely free, and will allow you to make your own choices to create a unique storyline, and is even customizable, down to choosing different cute outfits (Don’t forget when The Plastics wear pink!). The witty script is being penned by write, Kristin Smith, who brought us “Legally Blonde” and “10 Things I hate About You”, and the game is meant to be a sort of sequel to original 2004 movie.
Well, we definitely can’t wait to take over this school this October! Watch out, Regina George.
