Hotlink is teaming up with the long-running Internet music series The Wknd Sessions to bring you The Wknd Sessions Live (TWSLive), now recorded in front of a live audience! Featuring performances by 10 noteworthy Malaysian acts at multiple venues around Malaysia, TWSLive will officially be launched at The Bee, Publika this 12th of June.
Artistes such as Noh Salleh, Love Me Butch, Damn Dirty Apes, Najwa Mahiaddin and more will be playing intimate recorded shows in KL, Penang, Ipoh, Johor Bahru and Kuching. Each TWSLive session features two artistes, with each act performing a 45-minute set, all recorded in HD to be featured on The Wknd’s website for viewing.
In conjunction with TWSLive, The Wknd and Hotlink will also be launching The Wknd Recording Fund (TWRF) to function as an aid for Malaysian independent artists to record, produce, release and market their recorded material in physical and digital formats.
