Join shu uemura’s prestigious The Beauty Art Make-Up Competition 2015 and become the next top make-up artist! With the theme “Haute Street”, it is inspired by the colourful and vibrant street art that embodies freedom of expression. shu uemura wants you to reveal your undiscovered beauty with artistic palettes of colours and perfect brush strokes.
Register for a chance to participate and submit your entries by 15 June 2015.
Here are some of the requirements:
- Collect your Entry Form from any shu uemura boutique nationwide
- Only complete original entry forms will be accepted.
- Participants are required to submit two 5R model’s portrait (strictly no digital touch-ups)
- Original receipts of minimum RM300 spent on shu uemura makeup products to be attached per entry.
The 15 semifinalists will be informed on 22 June 2015 and will be required to be in Petaling Jaya on the 7th of July 2015 to recreate the looks in front of some judges, including the International Artistic Director of shu uemura, Kakuyasu Uchiide. The judges will then select 10 finalists to compete in the Grand Finals on 4th August 2015 at Mid Valley Megamall.
One lucky winner will win a 3 days 2 nights trip to Tokyo, Japan, including RM1,000 travelling allowance and an exclusive invitation to attend a shu uemura event in Tokyo. The winner will also win a limited edition artist brush set worth RM1,300, a trophy and a certificate. Besides the Artistic Edition brush set worth RM1,300 and a trophy plus certificate, the 1st Runner-up and the 2nd Runner-up will win RM800 plus RM1,500 worth of shu uemura products, and RM500 plus RM1,000 worth of shu uemura products respectively.
