The Valley of the Deer will be the first-ever interactive Scotch whisky distillery tour in Malaysia!
Glenfiddich, the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, brings The Valley of the Deer to Kuala Lumpur from 27 – 30 May 2015 at Carcosa Seri Negara, offering Malaysians a rare behind-the-scenes look into what goes on at one of the world’s most reputable single malt distilleries.
Matthew Fergusson-Stewart, Regional Brand Ambassador for Glenfiddich said, “Given Malaysia’s growing appreciation for quality and craftsmanship, we hope The Valley of the Deer will be well received by fans of Glenfiddich and single malt alike. We want to create an educational opportunity for whisky lovers to develop a thorough understanding of our range and the rare skills that go into creating this exceptional single malt.”
The Valley of the Deer will take guests on an interactive journey that showcases the making of each cask of Glenfiddich single malt whisky. Through the expert guidance of Ian Millar, Glenfiddich Global Brand Ambassador, and Fergusson-Stewart himself, guests will experience an average working day at Glenfiddich’s Dufftown distillery. They will also be introduced to the various equipment involved in the distillation process and witness the perfected trade of coopering the barrels used to age Glenfiddich’s fine whisky. Of course, a visit to the distillery would not be complete without sampling the finished product.
Glenfiddich is giving its customers the opportunity to be a part of this exquisite experience as well. Customers will receive tickets to The Valley of the Deer with every purchase of a bottle of Glenfiddich from 6 – 26 May 2015 at participating outlets in Kuala Lumpur – The Point, Tate, Malt & Leaf, and Blue Elephant.
A Glenfiddich 12 Year Old entitles customers to one (1) pair of tickets, Glenfiddich 15 Year Old yields two (2) pairs of tickets, while a Glenfiddich 18 Year Old comes with three (3) pairs of tickets. A unique passcode will accompany the purchase of each bottle which will be used to redeem e-tickets.
