Here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, we have summer all year long but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get inspired by summer-related items to commemorate the season.
I’m a big fan of perfumes. Ask anyone that knows me and they will tell you that I have a plethora of perfume bottles on display in my bedroom. There is something about perfumes that just completes an outfit and if you feel the same way, you will appreciate the ones I have picked out for this list.
Dolce & Gabbana – Floral Drops
The name even sounds like summer and trust me when I tell you, it smells like something that’s in the garden of the Buckingham Palace. The Dolce Floral Drops has the rare beauty of a fresh, floral scent that will take you into the kind of summer with cool breeze and beautiful scenery. The Eau de Toilette is inspired by the notes of Dolce Eau de Parfum, preserving its harmonious signature of white flowers, with a heart of White Amaryllis. LACOSTE – L.12.12 Jaune
I absolutely love this sunnily cheerful perfume by LACOSTE for men. I especially love how fruity and fresh the smell is for a men’s perfume. In the scent inspired by this concoction, grapefruit, pink peppercorn and an effervescent tonic accord give way to sweet, Golden Delicious apple blended with coriander seeds, on a balmy cypress, vetiver and amber base. Beneath the surface bravura, these base notes are spicy.
