Mariah Carey has released the artwork to her upcoming new album, which consists of a collection of her greatest hits, set to be released with her Las Vegas residency launch on May 6 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Although no actual release date or track list has been announce.
The album that is titled #1 To Infinity is her first with Sony Music’s Epic Records since signing with them last month. Mariah also launched a social campaign accompanied with the hashtag #RevealMariah on April 12. The campaign encouraged Mariah fans everywhere to head on over to mariahcarey.com where they were prompted to share the exciting news if they wanted to see the final image.
The new contract with Epic Records brings Mariah back with Antonio “L.A.” Reid, who is also the chairman of the company and helped her with the multi-platinum comeback album in 2005, The Emancipation of Mimi. It’s also been announced that Mariah and her longtime publicist Cindi Berger have parted ways.
