As women, we look for more than just looks in a man. But as much as we say looks don’t matter, we all know that is a lie. Lipstiq’s Man of the Week has brought you good looking, career driven and passionate Malaysian men. This week, joining our sizzling list of Man Of The Week, here is the delightful and charming Ashleigh Hong.
Name: Ashleigh Hong
Age: 27
Occupation: Public Relations Manager
Tell us a little bit about yourself, what you do etc.
I’m impulsive, rash, and reckless, but I’ve been described as spontaneous a few times. I’m vain and narcissistic, but sometimes end up looking not too shabby. I talk a lot and am long-winded, but can sometimes come off as articulate. I don’t see the glass as half empty or half full, but I spend too much time thinking about the significance of what’s in the glass. I love music and travel. I also hate crowds with a passion.
What are your guilty pleasures?
I have a major sweet tooth, so things like ice cream, cakes, crème brulees, chocolate, and some whipped cream here and there. White chocolate over dark chocolate any day.
If you had to, which would you give up, food or sex?
Definitely sex. Survival comes before reproduction. Food, on many glorious occasions, have been better than sex. Wait… have I been doing it wrong?
What do you love most about your job?
I work in public relations for a tech company in the travel industry, and I love storytelling to inspire travel. And of course, travelling itself.
Tell us something about you that not most of your friends know about.
I love both my grandmothers to bits and one of them has Alzheimer’s. I wish I could do more for her. So if you aren’t familiar with Alzheimer’s, go get familiar. It is very real. And always be nice to old people!
If there was a million ringgit at stake, would you rather sit in a room infested with cockroaches for 24 hours or sit in a box of snakes for 24 hours?
Snakes, but only if they are not poisonous.
Well-groomed or well-dressed? Why?
Well-groomed first, and then well-dressed. A razor sharp suit won’t help you if you have horrible BO.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully a high-flying communications pro like Seth Grayson in House of Cards. Or a successful small business owner. Successful enough to buy as many pairs of shoes as I want. I’d probably be married too.
