This one in particular presents elegant living and unparalleled convenience downtown in one of Bangkok’s most prestigious areas. Fittingly located right above Emporium Shopping Complex which is a high-end shopping mall, Emporium Suites By Chatrium offers everything from designer shopping to easy access in and out of the business district.
This 378-room and suite cosmopolitan hotel is only 28 kilometres away from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport and it has long been a popular choice of accommodation for expats, business-minded travellers, couples looking for a haven in Bangkok itself, as well as families on casual holidays.
We were lucky enough to have been offered the Deluxe One-Bedroom Suite, which was incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. Just as we walked in, we were amazed at how huge the suite was. Elegantly designed and super spacious, the 95 sqm suite was indeed a private and enjoyable escape away from the busy streets of Bangkok. The interior of the suite is classy and exquisite, with very polished and fancy furniture decked out.
It featured a separate kitchen, a large dining area, a comfortable living area, an indulgent en-suite bathroom and a master bedroom. The entire suite had floor-to-ceiling windows and offered everything we needed. It had a king-sized bed with luxurious linen, pillows and duvets, a separate shower and bathtub, a kitchenette with coffee and tea making facilities, 24-hour in-room dining, eco-friendly bathroom amenities, two large LCD TVs in the bedroom and living room with HDMI ports, a DVD player and an array of local as well as international channels, a fully stocked mini bar and high-speed WiFi access.
There were only two of us in the entire suite and it felt pretty empty, but it would easily fit an entire family of five comfortably even with just one bedroom. The large dining table can sit at least six people, so you do the math. With so much space, we reckon that the suite would be perfect for weekend staycations and even small parties amongst some friends to celebrate a special occasion.
We also had the chance to take a sneak peek into the Superior Room, the Studio Super Deluxe and the Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite. All the rooms in the hotel are of a similar and consistent theme, and surprisingly, even the most standard room is roomy and comprehensive. We loved the cosiness it offered, and the simple comfort sufficient for anyone to unwind and relax. On the other hand, the Deluxe Two-Bedroom Suite with two separate bedrooms featuring king-sized beds would be excellent for larger families.
Every morning, we had breakfast at Emporia Restaurant and it offered a wide range of Cantonese as well as international cuisine. Even though we were in Bangkok, we loved how the hotel offered food that catered to a wide range of palates, just in case anyone is fussy with food. We enjoyed the dim sum, fresh salads and the yoghurts. Aside from Emporia Restaurant, the hotel serves coffee and light snacks at the Lobby Lounge, and yummy cocktails accompanied by light eats at the Pool Bar.
As for its facilities, the hotel offers a Business Center for rent, a fully equipped Fitness Center complete with Personal Trainers for your perusal and luxurious changing rooms, a free-form swimming pool, children’s pool and jacuzzi surrounded by lush greenery from the beautiful landscaped garden, as well as the Spa by THANN Sanctuary, which is renowned for its top notch sensorial treatments to pamper, rejuvenate and relax the mind, body and soul.
We are thoroughly satisfied with our stay and we’d definitely go back soon for its excellent service and beyond pleasant rooms. Even though Emporium Suites By Chatrium is slightly more pricey compared to many other hotels in Bangkok, the fulfilment and peace of mind that comes with staying in this hotel is truly unbeatable. Your stay would definitely be worth the money.
Emporium Suites By Chatrium is directly linked to the Emporium Shopping Complex, which is a direct stop at the BTS Skytrain Phrom Phong station. The hotel is only a few stations away from other major shopping malls and popular hotspot BTS Skytrain stops such as Nana, Asok and Siam. Transportation definitely wouldn’t be a problem and surrounding the mall, there are also tons of food stalls, restaurants and massage parlours for your convenience.
