Livescape works relentlessly around the clock to ensure that FMFA goes as planned.
We’re sure you’ve heard about FMFA 2015’s permit issue by now and yes, it’s very unfortunate for all this to be happening at the 11th hour, not to mention, dejavu but there is still hope. Livescape has asked for members of the public to give them 48 hours to work on the issue at hand and has also informed that public that an update will be provided by Friday/Saturday.
As of now, Livescape has gone up to the hight level to appeal for the festival to proceed and is awaiting feedback. The Singapore Police Force’s concerns are with regards to the isolated drug related incident that took place during Future Music Festival Asia in Malaysia last March.
Isolated incidents which happened outside of Singapore cannot and do not carry any implication that FMFA is in any way linked to drug use nor is it any indication that there will be drug abuse at the event. FMFA firmly stands behind their goal of creating a drug-free event for festival goers to enjoy and are working with the best international organisations in the world with a combined 50 years of experience working on similar events to ensure that this is the case.
Music unites people, and FMFA believes that together we can make a stand for our right to #KeepFMFAAlive and #Drugfree.
As of this moment, we have no further information but we must say that we standing strongly behind Livescape and we’re really hoping for FMFA to go on as planned.
