Yet to experience the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (PIHABF)? Do mark your calendar as the highly anticipated event will return for the 7th time from the 12th to 15th March 2015. The Fiesta will be held at Precinct 2, Putrajaya, and will feature an amazing lineup of international balloonists, as well as other activities and attractions.
Slated to be bigger and better this year, headlining the balloons will be the Van Gogh balloon from Netherlands, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary. Local artists will be invited to create Van Gogh art as a tribute to the iconic balloon. This year, Night Glow will be held on two evenings. The glowing hot air balloons that float across the evening sky creates the most spectacular panorama that is not to be missed.
Additionally, The Fiesta will see the introduction of MyBalloonClub, a premium gourmet breakfast experience with the best viewing seats. MyBalloonClub patrons will also be eligible for tethered hot air balloon rides. Visitors to the Fiesta can have picnics at the Picnic Area, go for Helicopter Joyrides in a brand new chopper, shop for food and retail at the bazaar, and enjoy other exhilarating activities.
General admission is free, with individual fares for selected attractions such as Helicopter Joyrides, MyBalloonClub, Balloon & Breakfast and NightGlow. Kindly visit the Fiesta’s official website to find out more and book tickets online. Do follow the Fiesta on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates!
