A good night’s (or day’s) rest at an airport

What travelers hate most aside from being away from home perpetually, long flight hours, and the impending jetlag that follows, is the frustration of transit times. Transit times can range from anywhere from two hours (if they’re lucky) to about half a day. The issue that follows suit is the hassle of looking for accommodation while waiting for the next flight. If that fails, a traveler might find himself or herself lugging bags around and wandering around an airport terminal in a foreign land aimlessly.

But it has recently come to light that the Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow has the solution to this common issue!
Developed by Arch Group, the “Sleepbox” answers all travelers’ woes by providing a space where a person can rest or catch a few winks before catching the next flight.

Much like the “Capsule Hotel” in Japan, except bigger, the “Sleepbox” features two beds, warm LED reading lamps, and electrical sockets. Travelers may rent it for at least 30 minutes or up to several hours at a time. The “Sleepbox” is also equipped with a ventilation system, sound alerts, built-in LCD TV, and built-in WiFi.

Think of it as a comfy sanctuary to really recharge your body as well as recharge your cellphones, tablets, and laptops. Or just hide:

Hmm. We only hope these travelers won’t get too comfortable and forget about their flights!
