Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so why not take some nail lessons from nail artist Holly Falcone and treat your nails with some love by giving it heart ombré manicure.
Look below for the really simple steps for you to follow:
Step 1 – File your nails into the shape that you want, push back your cuticles instead of cutting them and then apply some base coat. Once that’s dried continue with two coats of a creamy pink shade that’s more on the pale side.
Step 2 – By using two hole-punch reinforcements (if you don’t have any, head on down to any stationery store), you can create the two arches of the first heart.
Step 3 – Apply some candy pink shade from the stickers to the tips of your nails. Don’t let the paint dry before removing the stickers, otherwise you will get undesirable residue. Instead, remove the stickers while the nail polish is still a little bit wet and drying.
Step 4 – Once the first colour is completely dry, repeat the second step but stick the hole reinforcements a little closer to the tip of your nail. Find a dashing red colour and paint away. Remember to pull off the stickers before the paint completely dries.
Once every single nail is completely dry, seal the deal with some topcoat. Now you’re done and ready to take on Valentine’s Day with some love!
