Diageo Reserve World Class, the industry’s most prestigious and respected mixology competition, launched a six month long campaign in Malaysia in search for the nation’s best bartender.
As part of the launch, Diageo Reserve Malaysia hosted a Cocktail masterclass, “A Night of Cocktails with Tanqueray with Global Brand Ambassador Barrie Wilson” at SIX Bar, Bangsar. The exclusive by invitation only event featured Tanqueray No. TEN®, a perennial favourite of gin renowned for its complexity, in an inspiring class in the art of cocktail making and a series of live demonstrations.
Tanqueray No. TEN® Martini
Ingredients:-
- 50ml Tanqueray No. TEN®
- 10ml Dry Vermouth
- Dot of Grapefruit Bitters
Method:-
- Stir together with ice and strain into a chilled martini/coupe glass. Garnish with a twist of grapefruit.
Martinez
Ingredients:-
- 50ml Tanqueray No. TEN®
- 25ml Sweet vermouth
- 10ml Maraschino
- Dot of Orange Bitters
Method:-
- Stir all ingredients together and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a twist of orange and a cherry.
Garrick House Punch
Ingredients:-
- 50 ml Tanqueray London Dry
- 25 ml Lemon Juice
- Half shot of sugar syrup
- 5 ml Maraschino Liqueur
Method:-
- Shake a few times. Double strain to keep out fine ice. Garnish with maraschino cherry and lemon slice
