Doesn’t it feel horribly invasive when you get catcalled in the street?
First of all, catcalling is also a form on sexual harassment, which I’m sure you wouldn’t like being done to your mothers, right? What is catcalling you may ask? Well, it’s shrill whistling, or shouting obnoxiously in public after a disapproving meeting or performance. Recently a video went viral that brought a lot of people’s attention to women that face street harassment.
The video was taken in Lima, Peru, where the issue is dealt with in a different way: By showing what happens when men find out the women they’ve been catcalling are actually their mothers in disguise, all thanks to the boxing equipment brand, Everlast.
