Zalora, Asia’s Online Fashion Destination, launches its flagship click and mortar pop-up store at Gurney Plaza, Georgetown. This is the first click and mortar store for Zalora Malaysia where they take the shopping experience offline into a ‘traditional’ retail showroom, with a digital in-store experience.
The double storey store brings Zalora to life by allowing customers to touch, feel and try on a carefully curated selection of Zalora’s in-house labels as well as local designer brands ranging from the Zalora label, ZALIA, Something Borrowed, Ethnic Chic and Jovian Mandagie.
“Zalora is very excited to give Penangites an opportunity to have a unique digital shopping experience. Our initiative to launch this store is a strong testament to how we are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to engage with our customers beyond our flagship online platform,” said Managing Director of Zalora Malaysia, Giulio Xiloyannis.
The store comes fully furnished with Honor tablets and smartphones, sponsored by Huawei Malaysia, allowing customers to browse through the Zalora app with ease as they walk around the store.
“We are proud to be a part of this project with Zalora. We are very excited in embarking on this synergy to help take Malaysia’s e-commerce ecosystem and standard to the next level,” said South Pacific Head of Marketing of Huawei, Ricky Lew.
The Zalora’s pop-up store is open to walk-in customers seven days a week, from 10am to 10pm at the Ground Floor and First Floor of Gurney Plaza, Georgetown, Penang.
