MTV has always encouraged individualism amongst its audience by championing the issues that matter to them. Things That Matter 2014 (TTM) is the first pan-regional list at www.mtvasia.com/ttm that takes a look at 2014’s pop culture trends, digital advances, major events or social movements that have transcended geographical and cultural barriers to influence and impact young people’s values and lifestyles.
Whether you’re a feminist, music lover or have a strong opinion on just about anything and want your voice to be heard, head over to www.mtvasia.com/ttm to join in on the conversation and vote for what matters to you! Celebs such as SonaOne, Joe Flizzow and MTV’s resident VJ, Alan have been invited to get the ball rolling on the Star Buzz page. The initial list includes topics such as Pharrell Williams’ “Happy,” 2014 FIFA World Cup, “#OOTD” and…just about anything under the sun that captured our imagination throughout 2014. If you’re wondering what else is making the list, check out the site at www.mtvasia.com/ttm to vote for the things that mattered to YOU. You can also add on and vote for topics that are not part of the list on the Submit My TTM page.
